Define chilled or frozen display
State the goods and required operating conditions before selecting a cabinet. An upright chilled merchandiser, back-bar chiller and display freezer are different purchasing formats. A glass door is not proof that two units perform the same role. The supplied range includes SG upright references, LCM chilled display references, BT back-bar models and LDM freezer models; identify the proposed family and model in the quotation.
Read the identified model table
Compare the dimensions, listed capacity, temperature reference, electrical configuration and refrigerant for the actual model. The SG reference table belongs on the retained upright page; its integration does not prove equivalence with the former legacy upright model. BT generic prose and its model table have differing temperature/frequency statements, so the published reference follows the identified table and the final configuration requires confirmation.
Match the format to the brief
The following describes selection roles in the current product range. It is not an equivalence table and does not transfer a rating from one family to another.
| Family / format | Procurement questions |
|---|---|
| SG upright chilled reference | Which model, package/shelf layout and electrical configuration are proposed? |
| LCM glass-door display reference | What goods and loading/access arrangement suit this cabinet? |
| BT back-bar chiller | Which reference size and door arrangement match the bar footprint? |
| LDM display freezer | What frozen-display requirement and named model are being reviewed? |
| A/H/L island freezer family | Which lid/access layout and series/model belong in the frozen-food zone? |
Compare useful space and access
Capacity in litres and outside dimensions do not state how many products fit your assortment. Provide package dimensions, loading arrangement and preferred shelves for review. Check door or lid access and the route into the installation position. Request any technical access requirements to be shown in the proposed drawing rather than relying on a cabinet photograph.
Confirm destination-market configuration
Catalog voltage/frequency and refrigerant values describe the named reference model. State your destination country, power supply and documentation requirements. Ask the supplier to identify what is available for the proposed configuration. A catalog reference does not establish certification or electrical compatibility in every market; do not add unverified compliance badges to a procurement specification.
Separate optional changes from the base reference
List branding, exterior finish, labeling, shelf arrangement and packaging preferences. Have feasibility and the final supplied configuration confirmed before approval. Compare model identity, inclusions, agreed changes, packaging and site-work responsibilities consistently. Do not infer warranty, production timing, MOQ or energy savings where the source does not provide them.
Send a model-neutral enquiry when needed
If you do not know the model, select Commercial Display Refrigerator in the RFQ and describe goods, footprint, operating requirement and destination market. Include quantity, voltage/frequency, installation location and a drawing if available. Request the proposed model table and configuration schedule so the selection can be reviewed before production.
BUYER QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Are SG and LCM the same product?
No. Their references are presented separately. Identify the actual family/model proposed for the application.
Does a freezer reference work as a chilled cabinet?
Do not assume that. Specify the required operation and review the appropriate documented model configuration.
Should I use general brochure prose or the model table?
Use the identified model reference and confirm any conflicting statements with the project specification before approval.
What if a destination-market certificate is needed?
State the requirement and request verified documentation for the proposed configuration. No certification is assumed from the product family name.
